Goncalves.
After
completing 4 years of active duty in the navy, I attended
CT School of Broadcasting,
majoring in communication. I soon accepted a job at
WHLE Radio in Woburn,
MA. as an on air Jock. Still working at WHLE, I began
working at Kirby's Pub,
better known as The Library
in Smithfield RI. Kirby's
provided me with the experience to spin music, and
pack a dance floor every thursday evening with college
students.
After 3 fun years, I began working for Nightbeat,
Mendon MA. as house DJ spinning 70's, 80's and 90's
music. While working at Nightbeat
I had the pleasure to work with Frank
Santos, the R-Rated Hypnotist and Boston's
hottest all boy vocal singing group, Four
Fun (who also had a top video in rotation on
MTV at the time).
While
working at clubs, I often had many requests to DJ
weddings, anniversary parties, Christmas parties and
corporate functions, within time Double
J Productions was established.
Currently,
Double J Productions
is also subcontracting for other DJ companies such
as Main Street Entertainment
(Franklin, MA.), J.D.'s Music
Express (Foxboro, MA.) and A
Mike Leonard Video and DJ Services(Marlboro,
MA.) while completing a degree at New
England Institute of Technology for Radio and
Broadcasting Communications.
